People say that the hangman failed 7 times to hang him due to rope breaking every time by the grace of Tarkulha Devi.
It was successful only at 8th time when Bandhu Singh prayed Mata Tarkulha Devi & said "हे माता अब मुझे मुक्ति दो " ।

It's really sad that history of such a great freedom fighter is not mentioned anywhere in the books of Struggle of independence , or any such book.
We really need to work on it , they have given their lives for our freedom , & their history has been erased ! It's really shameful.
