I'm personally going to pay less attention to the new women's lobby group as the 2 organisations in it are basically just run by 1 person each. I'm going to pay more attention to the speaker list, especially the Irish panel
I feel like every couple of weeks these terfs try something like this. Its not for me to say Ignore It and I am cis and not a sex worker but these are small groups.
However, the speaker list is full of respectable people with platforms who frankly should know better.

Are @SerpUcd transphobic? They should have to answer this.
Are @AkiDwA transphobic?
I know Rachel Moran is.

These organisations are well respected and given platforms. They are lending their respectability to this new organisation.
I do not like calling out organisations on Twitter, especially ones like Akidwa who I know do great work (even if I don't agree with their sex work stance). But enough is enough, people can't claim ignorance on this anymore.
One of the worst things these groups does it make a lot of feminist on Twitter exclaim that Irish Feminism is Inclusive and I have to say Is It?
It is an objectively good thing that transphobia is not acceptable in Irish feminism. But that isn't enough.

A more fair thing to say is that Irish feminism *strives* to be inclusive. The reality is that the prominent figures in Irish feminism tend to be white, cis, settled, able bodied etc. I include organisations that I am involved with here.
Not being The Brits is not enough. Lately I have noticed there is a lot of lip service to inclusivity without really truly organising with marginalised groups. That isn't enough.
