Mish admitted to be tone-deaf about the rogue translator / canon/not-canon madness & asked for clarification. He LISTENED! 
Shosh talked over someone else's story in a podcast & offered her platform to them after realizing this.

Making mistakes is human. Admitting them is decent.
Learning from them, striving to better yourself...makes a good human being.
Saying 'I did nothing wrong & will not listen if you disagree' just means you have no interest in growing.
