A thread further to the antimask protest in #yyc last weekend.

The event was met with outrage which prompted reaction from councillors @JyotiGondek and @gccarra. No small wonder that there is growing community, gov and expert concern #COVID19AB https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/covid-alberta-lack-enforcement-1.5916152

We’ll remind CPS that mall security was alerted days prior, as were they. It could’ve been stopped before it ever started given the close relationship between organizer Brad Carrigan and CPS.

Instead it started with a pat on Brad’s shoulder from the officer

I can only imagine what shoppers thought when they realised this antimask protest was being led by cops choosing not to enforce public health orders.

Harassment and bullying are seen throughout the 90min #superspreader event. Here’s Misty Wind berating a couple for refusing her propaganda brochure, and a first look at the crowd (and noise)

Again Misty is seen harassing shoppers. She says they’re mean, rude and hateful and laughs that they aren’t accepting her bullshit. That’s some fancy pot/kettle.

Cops ignore her. Someone is yelling about “slaves.”

The protesters shout at people, pushing their camera into the face of a masked shopper here, clearly attempting to intimidate those respecting public health orders.

Cops do nothing.

Here’s Artur Pawlowski intimidating 3 shoppers, hollering at them to “take off your masks.” Tammy Haney, a local realtor and protest organizer, chirps in with “Breathe oxygen man, wake up.”

As an aside, Tammy and her galpal Tiffany advertised the upcoming “tiki torch rally” in #yeg on her yt channel today, and for some reason had to remind people she’s not racist

Back at the mall, Artur interviews this antimasker who claims “masks are child abuse” (she has that decal on her car!). It appears that her child is not anxious to agree with her however.

Brad gets another pat on the shoulder from the cop.

Meanwhile Dawid Pawlowski is very busy yelling at shoppers. I suppose this is what they call “education” but for some reason people aren’t warming up to him.

Remember Dawid is running for city council in this year’s municipal election #yyccc

Dawid continues yelling at and berating shoppers including children. He’s a broken record and mall guests are not impressed.

Where are the cops?

Here’s Artur with more disinformation that can easily be fact-checked as straight-up wrong. Art routinely gives zero fucks about facts however.

Artur again in a confrontation with a masked shopper who can’t even. Kudos to this guy though.

There’s a noted absence of cops doing any deescalation in these situations. Who are they serving and protecting? Not the law abiders that’s for sure.

Some disturbing messaging was noticed at this disinformation antimask protest. Walk for Freedom is not attracting Calgary’s best and brightest.

This hooded woman joins Artur to thank CPS. Notice a different woman at the beginning trying to get through the throng of antimaskers covering her ears. Fascinating stuff Art.

Last but not least here’s an antimasker losing his shit screaming “we’re trying to save you” and “you don’t know what I’ve fucking gone through.” He’s identified as Jeff, a guy who’s “very passionate about this.”

Again, children are present.
Cops hold back.
