Everyone should get vaccinated to protect yourself and everyone in the community. It will minimise the chance of serious illness.

This will help Hong Kong get out of the pandemic faster. Our economy can start to recover.
There will be 2 types of vaccines arriving in Hong Kong shortly.

Sinovac, 1 million doses will arrive tomorrow afternoon.

BioNTech, ~1 million doses will arrive before the end of the month.
Priority groups to get vaccinated first.

1. Health care staff

2. people over 60, and those who accompany them

3. workers in RCHE and RCHD

4. Key workers (hygiene, sewage workers, waste etc)

5. Cross boundary workers
(key workers include those working in the disciplinary services and postal workers)
29 vaccination centres operating for 6 months.
24 of the 29 vaccination centres will be used for the BioNTech vaccine.

5 of the vaccination centres will be used for the Sinovac vaccine.
each centre will only distribute one type of vaccine.

Vaccination centres will operate 7 days a week, from 8am-8pm.
Bookings for vaccination centres are mandatory. It will allow the programme to distribute vaccines effectively with minimal wastage.
Vaccination record will be in paper form and also accessible via the iAMSmart app.
After the first priority groups are vaccinated, those aged 16-59 with chronic illness will be added.
