We don't talk enough about the good things happening in San Francisco. Lots of park and playground upgrades, new bike lanes, etc. The area around Market and Van Ness is going to be transformed in the next couple years. Check out: https://www.10southvanness.com/proposed-index 
Over in the Presidio there's a new park being built on top of the new tunnels that lead to the Golden Gate Bridge. This should open this year

And maybe you forgot that the Warriors moved to San Francisco and now play at the Chase Center, the newest and most modern NBA and concert venue in the country
Salesforce Park was open for less than a year before covid shut it down. It was one of my favorite places in the city to hang out, have lunch, and take meetings.
There are *13* playgrounds getting upgraded in the city *right now*. We've visited most that are completed and they are spectacular. https://sfrecpark.org/1124/LetsPlaySF-Initiative
The tennis courts in Golden Gate Park have been under construction for a year or two and will be opening *this year*. I walked by the site today and they look spectacular. The city has 100+ free tennis courts, many with incredible views.
These are longer term projects but eventually the Central Subway and Van Ness corridor will open, and UCSF will have a brand new hospital at Parnassus!
