I want my life, including my politics, to be molded by a pursuit of justice and compassion. I believe Jesus’ life here on earth is a clear example of this. No political ideology will ever be able to box Jesus’ life in because He so much better than conservatism or liberalism.
Neither progressives or conservatives have a monopoly on Christian politics, because Christianity transcends the entire political spectrum. Jesus loves the unborn baby in his mother’s womb, and he loves the poor immigrant coming to a first world country for a better life.
Christians should mold their political views not based on a parties agenda, but based on God’s kingdom. Conservatism, liberalism, capitalism, socialism, will all come and go, but God’s word is forever. Live your life based on His word, not Marx or Reagan. #JusticeandCompassion
