in identifying as non-binary i thought that i would be able to escape some of the misogyny that i faced as a a woman. i did not. i still continue to face the misogyny & blatant sexism that i faced before & then some, i think that this just shows that femme presenting people (1/4)
will never be able to berid of the anti-woman mentality in a patriarchal society. what i thought could be a means of escaping it only bred more problems for me such as not being accepted in neoliberal feminist spaces, not feeling “woman enough” to talk about issues that- (2/4)
-majorly impact women & especially seeing people mold their misogyny to group in non-binary people, (such as the use of the word afab to describe us, but there’s def more). it is all such bs & conversations that don’t simply-(3/4)
benefit cis white women are important conversations to have. -m (4/4)
