Why is it that the "wholesome" furries seem to be the ones that come with a lot of baggage, or inevitably fall headfirst into baggage? Conversely, why does the "less wholesome" side of the fandom have all the people who are actually cool to be around?

Meanwhile 99 Kinks McGee, the permanent member of "team keep furry weird, and fuck appearing wholesome to the masses," doesn't seem to run into that sort of problem. Just a pattern that I've been noticing.
