The internet has a reputation for bringing out the worst in people, but over the last week, I've had the opportunity to see the best. While in the hospital dealing with sepsis over the past week, thousands of you followed my post and offered kind words, prayers, and support. 1
I received numerous supportive messages from people I know and don't know. I had so much Twitter company during my hospital stay. So many of you chatted with me and kept me entertained while I was alone in that room. What's more is that many of you have continued to check in. 2
I assumed that concern over the health of an internet stranger would end after reading a post. But you guys have completely disproved that. Every day I get several comments on posts, asking how I'm feeling or if I'm back home. Some handles I recognize, and some are new to me. 3
I am shocked and touched and amazed. I feel indebted to you for all of your incredible support. Thank you all so much for being such incredible internet people.

If you feel so inclined, share any kindnesses you've experienced here as well. Let's have a feel-good thread.
