cool to have a prime minster who gets yelled at for only attempting empathy by pretending a rape victim is his own daughter, then gets his office to spread rumours that she's only making a fuss about it because her boyfriend doesn't like the government
not to put words into his mouth, but it's very, very hard to see this prime minister as being able to see any issue involving a woman from a perspective that doesn't involve a man who owns her
it seems like a generalised inability to see women as having any form of agency, or self, or identity of their own. this aligns with the thinking of men who think that if women didn't get drunk or dress "like that", sexual assaults wouldn't happen to them. incredibly depressing
