I'm not in ontario but I wish I had had the guts to stand my ground at the job I just walked out of. My former boss literally contradicted everything I said to him in a meeting about my concerns and he dehumanized me. It was his words against mine the whole way through. He is a very privileged person and one of those well intentioned well respected guys who have breezed through life...he said pointedly nasty shit to me and then acted like he didnt in a letter and attached it to my file.

This is a good thread and is how it should have gone down at my job too but I worked for a non profit care home with no union and no safe work place advocacy. It's actually really unsafely run the more I step back and really look at it.
