I am old. I had no idea how many people didn't know it was Rush that coined the term "Feminazi" So many of us were branded with it while defending and demanding our right to exist without having to tolerate abuse.
Through his daily barraging of women, LGBTQ folks, BIPOC, and immigrants was one of the framers of the Hatestitution that we call Trumpism today.
His rhetoric was a major part of the white supremacist "media" that has led to the fear that led to the intolerance that led to the culture of harm and violence we have been living in since I can remember.
I have been called a feminazi a zillion times because I stood up to the various supremacists in comedy, politics, or just defending my right to not be fucked with. I will not dance around my lack of giving af about his death.
Makes me wonder how many women who ever tried to come forward in the 90's and beyond with charges of sexual harassment or hostile work environment were called that. I'll go first- :: raises hand::
