Trigger warning

I’m getting really tired of seeing/reading opinions on what to do with the land of Alaska, from EVERYBODY outside of that entire state.

What the hell do you know?
Have you seen an oil rig?
Do you know someone that works on the slope?
Do you know that we have? -
most efficient way of cleaning up our tracks?
Do you know what goes on in the “north slope”?

No?

Then shut the hell up.
EVERYTHING in your hands, that you see in front of you, is created with oil. Did you know that once we are done drilling, we fill that hole up and move -
forward? Did you know it has NO affect on the land surrounding it? If you compare us to Texas (a great example of what NOT to do) we have the cleanest way of maintaining the land, and keeping the human race alive.

Those wind turbines you want to control electricity? They need -
- oil to move. To de-ice those blades in the colder states? Helicopters need that oil/gas to make it happen.

There isn’t going to come a day where oil is not needed, and if it does, it won’t be in any of our lifetimes.

The indigenous people of Alaska, those whom live in the -
- Hundreds of villages in Alaska, they BENEFIT from our oil industries. Did you know that Alaska natives get big checks 1-3 times a year? Most of those checks are 20k+

This industry is THE industry keeping this country running. I truly dare all of you, to do some research.
And UNTIL you know someone personally who works on the great North Slope... I really don’t want to hear it.
You guys have a way of believing silly memes before you believe actual facts, and this is a civil war within social media.
Let’s get the facts straight, and let’s start now. In order to survive, we need oil. Period.
