Today is my last day at @savechildrenuk. It's been a beautiful journey and having worked with leading international researchers, I can truly say that I have worked with the most exceptional applied researchers and evaluators in my career to date.
(1) The UK Evidence and Learning team are some of the brightest and most talented minds in applied research and complex evaluations I have every come across.
(2) The programme, practice and strategic staff have incredible tenacity and energy to innovate whilst maintaining the system lens, always being agile and always pivoting to meet the needs of those in poverty.
(3) Our policy and campaign function are ferocious in fighting for children and families rights in poverty and have achieved incredible amounts with empowering the voices of those who are almost never heard in parliament.
I have been involved in everything from implementing anti-racism in our systems through to being held hostage for hostile security training. It's been a pleasure, an honour and a privilege.
I also have to give a huge shout out to the formidable #BAME network. A phenomenal force for race equality and anti-racism in the org.
