Something to love about EVERY live action Batman - A Thread
Adam West - I feel like wholesome is the word.

Giving Batman a wider appeal, pairing comic wackiness with the product of it's time quirks of a cheesy role model.
West's Batman was open and chipper about his role which is nice to see. It was unashamed about being fun, catchphrases and gadgets galore!

These days it's pretty novel to see!
Micheal Keaton - Dark, Gothic, grounded and over the top at the time same.

Keaton's Batman, in a lot of ways, feels like the Golden Age Batman lept off the page.
Keaton's Bruce Wayne has a nice detached and awkward feeling in his scenes, which also shines in his Batman.

He's still got the big outrageous car and fights armies of Penguins strapped with Bombs but it's treated with total seriousness. That's really special to see.
Val Kilmer - A balanced Batman. Comfy, complex and not afraid to be campy with a personal touch.

Kilmer shines both as Bruce and Batman. His Batman is fully formed and comfortable in his role. The signal shines, something crazy is going down and he's on the way!
His Bruce is charming and witty and most interestingly, highly introspective. He's seen the error of his ways and works to correct them. Especially in his relationships.

When mentoring Dick, he reflects on how things have made him feel and the impact he's having on Dick.
as well as what's ultimately best for him. Kind enough to take in an orphaned boy and understanding enough to trust his judgement.

It's a big step of growth for Bruce.

The way this Batman fights is also very unique in how it nails the comic feel with a fast pace.
It really feels like progress for the character

"I'm am both Bruce Wayne and Batman. Not because i have to be. Because i choose to be."
George Clooney - A more "normal" guy. He's tackled most of his demons but still has flaws to concur.

Clooney's journey is really about his family relationship and taking the next steps to improve that. Batman and Robin start working as a well oiled machine.
Bruce's tight rules and unwillingness to compromise causes them to clash but Bruce listens to his family changes his ways. Changing to improve his relationships.

He's also a very compassionate person. Pleading with Freeze to do the right thing even after everything
We also see this Batman ready for anything and as a positive public influence. Ice skates built into the suit. Charity appearances.

It's interesting to see a Batman who has pretty much got it figured out and embraces improvement and change. Even if he needs a little nudge.
Christian Bale - The overused phrase: A more "Realistic" take

Bale's Batman exists in a much more low-key and grounded world where the strangest thing we see it the Batsuit itself. He faces petty crime to domestic terrorism and chemical warfare.
He's got some cool gadgets but it's all feasibly something a rich dude could get his hands on.

The Playboy with an alterior motive is thick in Bale's performance. Playing it up in public and using business trips to hide Batman work.
He's a Batman who is able to say when. He's not fighting super villians every day. There's a couple of major blips over the years and is content to pass the baton.

A Batman who doesn't necessarily have that need to be Batman and one that uses Bruce Wayne effectively is cool.
Ben Affleck - A controversial take it seems to say the least but love or hate execution, there's gold there.

We've never seen a Batman move like this! He's zipping across the room and swinging into action like no one else. We get to see him side by side with the Justice League.
A nice blend of seasoned mentor figure, respected colleague and... just some guy in Batsuit with an attitude.

There's growing pains with him opening up, he can throw a quip, overstep his boundaries and get put in his place for it.
It's nice to see Batman contend with a group of equals in a world that fully feels like the DC Universe, he's not confined to the usual.

Thoughts on the execution aside, a Batman in a world of heroes and a fallen man trying to rise again is something to appreciate.
David Mazouz - The best we've ever seen Bruce Wayne imo

We get to follow this Bruce, it doesn't just cut to 20 years later after the Waynes go down. We see the trauma Bruce goes through, every little beginning step of his journey and we leap he takes towards the cape and cowl.
He's not got a handle on his emotions, he hasn't learnt his skills yet. But we see that Batman heart and drive.

He's just at home patrolling the streets of Gotham as he is staring down a Wayne Enterprise board room. It really sells that Bruce's childhood ended in that Alley.
We don't see this kind of heart or growth for Bruce anywhere else.
This got a bit ramble-y so sorry about that haha

No Batman is without his merit to me and these are just some of the more unique things about their takes on the character that i personally enjoy. Your opinion might be totally different to mine and that's totally fine!
I'll be adding some more Batmen soon!
