Visitors Part 3 - minted 22nd November 2020 https://twitter.com/deathimself_/status/1330593544105586688

When I painted this one, I wanted more chaos, more alien life, more weirdness. I also decided to change the palette and use black and violet for the base coat, as I wanted to change it up abit from the green tones the previous two had.
/2
Animating this one was slightly harder, by November I had completed 13 animated paintings, and with it my knowledge and familiarity with after effects had increased. With that though comes a lot more time creating animations.
/3
There's abit of symbolism in this piece yet I am still unaware of what it means, my style of painting is subconscious so it takes time for the message to become clear sometimes. Some notable things are the decapitated bull statue leaking oil, and the red balloon...
/4
... both of which can be perceived as not relevant to the storyline. Yet, there's something inside my head that put them there. I'm sure the reason will come one day. I enjoyed creating the alien foliage and beings in the background. Esp. the Little Shop of Horrors plant. /5
Also "GLAR" from my previous The Future piece made a return in this one. Love that guy.
/6
And finally the "Head Spider" from "The Thing" I just really wanted to try and animate it, and its legs scuttling. It also influenced my following work "Don't Turn on the Lights".
/7
Ok, I feel I should mention 2 things; the Black Robed Figure and the Black Box. Both are a constant in these works. The Black Robed Figure is like a spirit of the forest, watching over the pool, but unable to move. It just observes and reacts through lights from its face-hole
/8
The Black Box, I guess is kind of the key. Unknown to me at the time I painted it, I just liked it there I guess and didnt think much of it. But as you'll see on the final animation this box holds these four works together. Completing the circle.

Visitors Part 3 sold to @snail0x, who is one of my favourite collectors, and people in general, that I've had the pleasure of meeting in this space, his sense of humour is great. Always happy to have my work in his collection.

It's been a long half a year, but I'm happy to finally complete this saga. And I'm happy with how it all connected in the end, even if unintended. Hope you enjoy these 4 works, and I hope people look back at them in the Future as a part of my history when books are written.
