Being a strong independent woman never brought me joy.
I had my own business & apartment. My parents were proud of me.
Many peers were jealous of me.
I felt empty.
All I ever wanted was to be a wife & mother. I didn’t desire any of the things I had built for myself.

While I practiced gratitude for the things I did have... I definitely felt deep sorrow for the life I desperately wanted.
I didn’t know how I was going to get there or if it was even possible.

The funny part is, Leila used to have a program that guaranteed you a husband within a year. I remember thinking it was a bold promise but once I made it happen for myself I was amazed. She knows her stuff. I’m thankful for not only crossing paths with her but becoming her friend
