After a great voter turnout in GA... THE STATE OF GA IS TRYING TO CHANGE VOTER LAWS THAT WILL DISPROPORTIONATELY IMPACT BLACK + YOUNG VOTERS IN GA w/ multiple state bills! Read below:
SB 69 Will end automatic voter registration. Ever wondered why you were register to vote after going to the Department of Driver Services? Because in Georgia, we have automatic voter registration if you don’t opt out when receiving your state ID or license.
SB 71 Requires an excuse to vote absentee! How about because I don’t feel like waiting in line due the voter suppression tactics like this one? 
SB 67 will Require Georgia voters to provide a form ID when applying for an absentee ballot (old black folk mostly vote absentee - this wasn’t a previous requirement). Absentee voting helped Biden WIN GA. Voter ID laws have always been a tool to stop POC from voting.
More than 1.4 million Georgians have voted absentee in the past. In a recent audit of more than 150,000 Georgia absentee ballot’s, there was ZERO cases of voter fraud. Copying and transferring your ID creates a huge risk of identity theft for elders.
SB 68 Will ban drop boxes. This means if you want to avoid long lines on Election Day and you receive an absentee ballot... You will no longer be able to drop them in drop-boxes across your community, you will have to mail them in!
SB 73 organizations like Fair Fight, NGP, GCPA and others that I’ve built trust in the Black community will no longer be able to register voters! This bill bands nonprofit organizations from registering voters... huh?
