I’m only just realising the similarities between Dabi and Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda. The feeling of being tossed aside. Abandoned after the rigorous training towards a goal they’ve been told they can no longer have/reach. #mha
“All I ever did, I did to make you proud”. Can’t help but feel like Dabi felt/feels the same way some how. Dabi was seeking recognition for his talents and wanted/wants to be seen for them....plus THE BLUE FLAMES!!
Dabi became obsessed with trying to be the no.1 and sticking to this fire in Dabi that had been lit, much like Tai Lung becoming obsessed with the Dragon scroll which he believes he rightfully deserves. These similarities I feel ultimately pushed them to become villains.
Sorry for the long thread, just a thought while rewatching this classic 🤔😅
