HOW DO U SAFELY DINE IN A RESTAURANT WHEN U HAVE TO TAKE UR MASK OFF TO EAT/DRINK!! just tell me. explain how that makes sense even if u wear a mask when u go inside. + those “outdoor” dining structures are just indoor spaces moved outside....let’s use some critical thinking here
with the way air flow works and the lack of proper ventilation in most places, distancing from other diners doesn’t matter. someone eating in a restaurant in south korea got exposed to covid within FIVE MINUTES of eating in the same restaurant when their tables were 20 FEET away
there is so much factual evidence that it is unsafe to dine indoors. mask policies don’t mean shit when u literally aren’t wearing a mask the majority of the time while in the restaurant and covid spreads through the air very easily & quickly, even more so with the new variants
i understand wanting to support restaurants that are open rn, especially local businesses, but it is legitimately not safe. the CDC/scientists have said this repeatedly. even if u are vaccinated, not everyone is & u could still be a carrier. i’m begging u to just get takeout
i don’t care about whatever the government says is safe. they don’t give a fuck about anyone’s lives, they just want to save our economy. they’re trying to reopen schools despite it not being safe. please keep acting like we’re in lockdown even if we’re not! covid is still here!
did not think this would get so many likes because tbh i felt like i was so alone in believing these things.....people i know have made me feel crazy by living their lives normally during the pandemic, while i’ve hardly left my home. glad i’m not the only one! stay safe y’all
