ERCOT is a non profit-although only since 2008. Non-profit entities file a tax return called a 990. The 990 is public knowledge and available on-line. I posted the link to their latest return above. PLEASE read this document. 1/

It shows that the CEO makes over 800k per year and it has multiple employees that make over 200k per year. In fact, their total expenditures per year on salaries and compensation is almost 7 million per year, which is excessive. 2/

I know this, because I sit on the Boards of 2 non-profits, and these numbers are way too high. Especially for a group that is the Epic failure that we are living through now. We all need to question how so many individuals are profiting from this non-profit. 3/

I suggest the IRS investigate the compensation arrangements of this so called non-profit. And if anyone knows a good investigative reporter, I think we need to have a chat. Now do your thing Twitter people. Texans deserve better.
