Late Review of our win.. Thread -
1) Big 3 points to take us back into top 4. The result was the most important factor & we achieved it. We now need to maintain this run.
2) Kovacic was the best player on the pitch for me. Seeing some of that form that earned him POTY.

3) Werner got his goal... Finally. I'm so happy for him to break this duck. The key has been that he was still trying non-stop & recently has been creating goals too. Don't get me wrong we need a lot more from him but good news if he keeps it up.

4) Clean sheet. Bar that stupid mistake by Rudiger against Sheffield we've not conceded in a while. That's good. We've been very fortunate at times as more clinical teams (City & others) would likely put us to the sword. So still work to do but largely solid at the back.

5) Thomas Tuchel. He's doing the best he can in the current circumstances & he's getting results. I like the way he speaks & acts & he's getting results. I think we have yet to see his actual plan, this seems to be a stop gap due to the bloated squad etc. But we are winning.

6) Selection. I voiced my discontent about selection pre-game. My opinion remains unchanged. If we are to strive for the big titles then we will need to move quite a few of these players on & get decent replacements in either from loan/academy or transfers.

7) Lots of possession. Its great controlling a game. It can become tedious especially when we have the ability & players to be more clinical. There's a balance & for me we look a lot like Sarri's Chelsea at times which got worked out & became pretty stale. We had Hazard then.

8) I say it every game but we need more goals. Kovacic was MOTM if he added goals he'd be called world class. Mount,CHO & Werner also had good opportunities not finished. We need a ruthless streak.

9) Tammy Abraham. He earned his start, that injury was unlucky & should have been a pen. There was actually a few fouls in that game missed. Maybe he could have done better with that chance too.

All in all hard not to be positive about where we are now. We are in top 4, we look fairly solid & Tuchel wants to keep it that way. We will have tougher tests like Atheltico Madrid so need to be on top form for that. As always UP THE CHELS! #CFC
