there were instances that happened to one of my VA friends (who is not on twitter) that happened with another VA who is. There were unwanted uncomfortable and sexual advances from that VA to her. She asked me not to speak on it and disclose who it was.
I will of course not disclose this person because I respect my friend and her wishes. But I’m saying all this to say that this does happen, and if you wish to speak out on this behavior then there are others here who will support you.
it’s also important to highlight this because this is something that really does occur. And we need to be mindful of this as a community.#
