If you're building an email list you know how tough it can be to get new subs in, every day.

Using a lead magnet is the easiest way to grow your list.

You give away value, you get a new email. It's a win-win.

However, when it comes to list building,

Quality > Quantity

What's the point of having 1k subscribers if only 1 or 2 are willing to buy from you?

How do you qualify your subs then?

1- Your lead magnet has to be related to your niche/ something you're working on.

2- Your welcome sequence has to be related to the lead magnet you're using.

3- You can put a price on your lead magnet - it can be as symbolic as $1

This way you'll attract an audience that:

• Is interested in your content
• Is more likely to buy from you

And you'll avoid lead magnet hunters that only care for the free stuff.

Now that you know how to attract the right audience...

What kind of lead magnet should you create?

If it's going to be free or super cheap you want to make sure it's fast to consume.

We all know people don't value free stuff because they don't have skin in the game.

Your lead magnet's goal should be to:

• Show you're an expert
• Provide value
• Share actionable tips

Some formats I like:

• Checklists
• Templates
• Cheatsheet
• Short ebook
• Email course
• List of resources

Now that you have everything set up

You need to properly promote it to your audience

Best ways to do it:

• Place it in your bio
• Make a pinned tweet with it
• Plug it on a viral tweet (has to be yours)
• Plug it on a thread (has to be related to the lead magnet)
