Kulkan's plan perfectly worked.
The lively Yamaç have become lifeless.
Walking around aimlessly without knowing what to do, what to say or even what to feel ...
So, he's roaming Çukur ... The place that he once knew but no longer do.

His face barely show any sign that he feels anything & that is thanks to Kulkan
He managed to erase Yamaç's identity
And by doing so, he erased his emotions & feelings along with it

We only get confusion, blankness, emptiness from this new version of Yamaç

About the hands that are clasped in front of the body ...
So, did you notice that Yamaç always (while standing) clasp his hands in front of his body
And this behavior is new to him. He embraced it when he escaped the place where Kulkan tortured him in.

This is the body language of the old Yamaç that we all know ...
Hands clasped behind the back.
This posture displays that he doesn't need to protect himself & not afraid to be attacked.
And that what Yamaç was like, fearless and superior.

Yamaç's hands are always clasped & in front of him.
This gesture illustrate that Yamaç is exercising some sort of 'self-restraint'.
So, he's symbolically ‘clenching’ himself back & withholding a negative reaction.
And in Y case, it's anxiety & frustration.

Because security is lost in this new form of him.

Yamaç have a long way to restore his memory.
His identity was erased by torturing him & therefore he lost it all. His memory as well as emotions.

Now Yamaç is fighting the barriers 
that are blocking his way ...
But I think that what will trigger him in restoring his memory is seeing the person who is the reason why he is damaged in the first place ...
And that is Kulkan himself.

Seeing or hearing Kulkan will have a massive affect on Yamaç.
Surely, first it will be bad, as Y will recall the horrible torture that he endured.
But then he can get over it.
Yet, recall how he responded to that guy in the restaurant, when he tried to attack him

Because last time Y saw K was many years ago where he (Kulkan) broke Yamaç both physically & mentally.
With that being said, imagine how will Yamaç react to seeing Kulkan
Yamaç will breakdown.

Yamaç needs time to process what have happened to him. To put back the pieces together in order to see the bigger picture.
He can't save Efsun because emotionally he's empty.
He knows her name but what he feels for her is lost in the darkness that consumed him ...

that are imprisoning him in the place where Kulkan used to torture him in.

If I have to write based on Efsun's character with everything that I'm seeing, then it's hard for her to simply welcome Yamaç back into her life.
Look you need to take her addiction seriously. Love sometimes isn't enough if you're battling against something like this.
