the past one year has been absolutely #difficult for #millions of #people #globally #covid #disability #empathy #humility
but there are some of us (by us i mean #disabled #folks) that are generally not in #sight so not in #mind in "normal" times #covid #disability #empathy #humility
what this #pendemic has done is to #exaggerate the #isolation #challenges and #problems anyone who is #marginalised faces #covid #disability #empathy #humility
the #world has #never been #equal but those with #disabilities have felt this past one year in a very #serious 'fashion #covid #disability #empathy #humility
its not been about #coping but its been about #survival for a lot of people whether its #physical or #mental #covid #disability #empathy #humility
when i contrast that to the #crazy rush of conversations around the world #money #stocks #vaccines #vulnerable groups #believers #balance in life its all #surreal #covid #disability #empathy #humility
i request all those reading this thread to in your own #small #world look out for tese #invisible #people around you and #reachout and find out if they are olkay #covid #disability #empathy #humility
because your one simple message might give them the #encouragement and #hope they need #covid #disability #empathy #humility
also am very aware that not only folks with #disabillities are the ones in #trouble a lot of us otherwise are as well so lets try and #humanize this #world a littlemore #covid #disability #empathy #humility
i personally went from being one of the #fiercest #independant #people in the #world to being shown how #dependant i am for the 2nd time in my life :) #covid #disability #empathy #humility
but the #paradox was that i still was #priviliged in my own #position and my #ability to not get affected by all this in any great way because of my #circumstances #covid #disability #empathy #humility
and as always when the #glass is #half #full i focus on the lower half only and see it as #full :) #covid #disability #empathy #humility
and feel very #satisfied that we have been able to make a difference and do our tiny bit for the #world and #people around us with a #smile #covid #disability #empathy #humility
but not everyone is in that position and so please reach out and help #covid #disability #empathy #humility
and again this thread is not about me and my #situation i am #perfectly #fine, but about the #problems people all around us are facing and how one and all should help when they find themselves in such a #priviliged #position #godbless #covid #disability #empathy #humility
so to sum it up look around reach out and make a difference #peace to all #covid #disability #empathy #humility
