How to invest 'RISK ON' in the NFT space.

High Risk, high reward.

Disclaimer, the following can either make you lose a ton of $, make you look stupid or...make you money/pivot your career.

Thread 👇
1/ Don't listen to anyone but yourself.

Maybe you're a smart cookie, and have a unique perspective/strategy no one seems to agree with.

You could be the only one that sees it coming.

Which means barrier and cost are usually low.
2/ Invest early. Before anyone knows.

Maybe a new NFT project, maybe a cryptocurrency.

It may feel like 'crickets' and no social support coz it's just you and 50 ppl in discord.

But that's how massive gains are made. When no one's paying attention.
3/ Guerilla Marketing.

Go big. As big As you can think.

Tag Oprah, DM the president, Call your local government to offer advice on NFTs.

It's your job as well to grow the project as an investor.

All is possible.

Maybe you'll fail, look like an idiot but f it, you'll win some
4/ Create the industry/movement.

Whether that means buy half the land in Cryptovoxels, give free lease to artists and make it a 'go-to' for artists,

Or cement cryptopunks as relevant by pushing it out there so mainstream audience pay attention to history.

It's up to YOU.
5/ Buy in bulk.

Offer $10k, $100k, maybe $1M to buy out a whale.

Whale wants out, he/she invested with $20k, sitting on a $2M portfolio but will take $1M if he can get $ asap and it saves him time to list/sell over time.

If you get it. Insta net-worth gains.
6/ Enter when others leave.

You may seem crazy, but maybe you know it's not as bad as people think.

Or there's something else in store for the project.

Mass fear = mass opportunity, IF the project is long term sustainable.
7/ Listen to the shills.

Some know da wei.

Really, it's annoying seeing people shill coins and NFT projects but honestly, that's how I come to know a handful of good ones lol.

By listen I mean, investigate.
8/ Pioneer. Write history.

If we truly are at the early years of the digital era, recorded on blockchain, then history is being written RIGHT NOW.

Which means, your moves, if big enough, will be preserved in documentaries.

No kidding.
9/ Put your idea out there for critics.

Need feedback on an idea? You can keep it to yourself in fear of a copycat or critical feedback.

OR you can put it out there knowing you can hustle and execute better than any other.

Get feedback, you release a better product.
10/ OTC trading. Negotiate.

NFTs can be hustled. Maybe not art from an artist, but investors who list for sale can be haggled with.

Like something? Find the buyer and give him an offer. Low is fine. It's a high risk industry and you need a market tanking buffer.
11/ Quit work - go in it full time.

Imagine having an extra 8-10 hours a day to perfect your craft.

Scout projects, network, build community, make Art, YouTube/socials.

One good NFT investment can cover your yearly income.
12/ LOOK for hurdles/barriers.

For every time someone turned around saying "it's too risky" or "it can't be done" or "it's too much effort" YOU continue.

Every hurdle you cross, the closer you get to the top 1% in the industry.
13/ Make your first YouTube video.

Nervous? It can be. "What will people think, say, does my accent sound bad?"

Maybe your vid or mic quality sucks, (like mine), but press that submit button.

Get feedback and do a better job next time. 10th vid you'll be pro.
14/ Learn by doing or investing.

Putting money down means your emotionally and financially invested.

Now the true learnings begin, (imo). Thinking/reading can do wonders but investing makes you learn 'on the job'
15/ Multi-Spread investments.

Invest in multiple projects. Maybe every one.

Might cost you a lot but atleast you've got the whole industry covered.
16/ The above is probably a lot of stuff you feel like not doing.

But...that's the point. Those that DO, play high risk. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose.

But if you find a strategy above that works for you, wins can far outway the losses.
