a black trans person named sai was kidnapped in cincinatti, ohio. i'll link a trustworthy thread below for updates, you can also find more updates under the #findsai tag. (quick fyi: they use they/them prns!! i see people misgendering them please dont!!)
sai has appeared to have confirmed they're okay, and theyre flying back to california today(?), but we were never given any clear signs they we're safe, so people are still keeping a close eye on the situation.

there was also a rumor being spread that another black woman named miah had gone missing aswell, which was debunked by her close friends. miah is only struggling with her personal health at the moment, nothing more. explaining why the tag #findmia is trending
another thing: the temperatures in texas are are getting v bad, i still havent seen much but this is another thing to keep an eye out for and spread awareness abt!! share tips on staying warm, how to handle hypothermia, etc, because you never know if any of ur oomfs will need it!
basically, what people are trying to say is please take a break to focus on whats happening in the real world. lives are on the line. you can wait to talk abt ur favs, you can wait to livetweet, you can wait to do gain tweets, please stop ignoring these things.
even if all u do is rt things thats okay, just don't completely ignore it,no matter how big or small your follow count is.
