If you have ONLY 20 ringgit to survive for the week, would you rather spend the money on foods... or on menstruation products?
To some people, this is a real decision that they have to make every month.

Last year, we had successfully collaborated with @mybungapads and Ms Vimala to deliver menstruation products to girls in B40 families.
We had also contributed to an on-going research on the effects of period poverty in Malaysia.
We built close relationship with girls living in B40 families so that we can have honest and intimate conversations about their menstruation practices.

And we are actively and CONTINUOUSLY advocating on period poverty, as well as sexual and health education on our instagram.
Our goals are to spark more conversation on the issue of period poverty and empowering all girls and women in Malaysia in every way possible.

Period poverty is often silenced by the heavy stigma attached to it.
In Malaysia, there is no official data on period poverty yet, but we have successfully broken the first barrier, which is being one of the first few nations to abolish the pink tax.

As we speak, we are seeing more and more menstruating persons affected by period poverty due to the challenges of the global pandemic.
Lets help build a world where all females will have access to the social world and the right to manage our menstruation with dignity.
