Teams were given one icon players for the inaugural season. The biggest name of cricket , The GOD , The local boy Sachin Tendulkar joined #MI .

Needless to say, he has always been a pillar of MI winning the IPL in 2011,CLT20 in 2011,2013.

Sanath Jayasuria was bought for $0.975M in auction. He contributed a lot in the top. His 114* against CSK in no time is still unforgettable. He was 3rd highest run getter in 2008.

2010 was the season when Powerhouse Kieron Pollard was bought for $0.75M. Through he has been one of the best foreign players of IPL.

The Greatest of All Time buys in auction has to be this when #MI bought young Rohit Sharma for a whooping $2M.

Needless to say, Rohit has now become a captain to win the IPL 5 times, CLT20. Fortune changed for both.

Thisara Perera was bought by #MI for $0.65M. While this move didn't came off nicely they also bought left arm pacers RP Singh and Mitch Johnson (helped us winning in 2013).

Glenn Maxwell was bought for $1M by #MI . Who can forget his innings in the final of CLT20 2013.

But the biggest future star 19yr Jasprit Bumrah was bought thanks to our scouts, who has now become a key player for ICT and MI.

Mike Hussey after an impressive 2013 was bought for 5cr and Corey Anderson was bought for 4.5cr who played one of the best innings in history of IPL to make us qualify vs RR.

2015 : 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿

2015 saw the introduction of 21 yr old Hardik Pandya who has now become one of the best finishers and turned game on his own by his 6s.

This also saw the trade of pocket rocket Parthiv Patel , one of the safest pairs of hands.

Ishan Kishan was our top pick in the mega auction for 6.2Cr. He has been an important player in the middle order in our seasons gone by.

P.S. - Krunal Pandya was bought for 8.8cr but by RTM (a form of retention).
