no side effects, no arm soreness (to be fair I didn’t even feel the needle going in!)

Best friend got vaccinated yesterday, stocking up on antiinflammatories as I’m expecting fever, muscle pains and headache from Hour 7.

Hour 4:

Some blurring of vision - still no muscle pain, fever, or headache!

Full afternoon of lectures, taking a break now to attend a @TCDSport #DUCAC Executive Board meeting.

Hour 8: somehow absolutely NO post-vaccine symptoms!

even the blurry eyes are gone, think that was just fatigue...

Hour 11:

Some symptoms!

A bit of injection site pain, spreading up and across the deltoid. Bit of nausea if I even think about food, and some hot flashes.

Nothing horrific, but I think my normal daytime meds are wearing off fighting off symptoms.

Hour almost-12:

The nausea, muscle pains and fever are spreading a bit, so gonna try take an early night.

Still, on scale of vaccines I’ve had before, 4/10 severity.

Shot up about 2 degrees in 30, 35 minutes.

Incredibly tense shoulders and hip flexors, and baseline rigors overall.

This is going to be a fun night.

Can’t sleep with the post-vaccine rigors,

so curling up with one extremely good boy:

Hour 22:

Last night was intense. No headache or perceptual changes, but a very sore arm and severe fever and rigors for 5 hours.

I forced myself to get up and take my anti-inflammatories, and that’s keeping most of it at bay.

Taking it easier today.
