2) Many countries have serious numbers of excess deaths, not just major countries. Here they are ranked by excess deaths as % of annual deaths.

3) Some of the excess death rankings can differ if per 100k people or % of annual, or as undercount ratio of excess:official #COVID19 deaths.

Besides US with big population, Russia and Mexico and South Africa definitely have large excesses.

7) Excess mortality by geographic region. South America (green) has terrifyingly high excess. Compare Sweden high excess deaths to neighbors Denmark, Finland & Norway with little to none.
