First paid influencer campaign kicks off today 🤳

Paid around £100 for a set of stories, feed post & exclusive discount code for an account with 60k followers in the dog space.

I don't have huge expectations - hoping to gain some great UGC & drive traffic to our health quiz.

Ready to call my first attempt at paid influencer marketing a failure. Here's why I think it went wrong 👇
1) I didn't brief the influencer - I thought leaving it up to them would lead to more organic content; I was wrong.

The creative was just boring product pics, without useful info & with no input from the influencer 😴

In the future, I'll brief!
So, what now?

Read a great thread by @TaylorLagace (a day too late) about product seeding versus paid influencer posts.

Seems like a much, much better strategy, and for sure my next experiment with influencers 👨‍🔬
