Sadly Manaus, a city of 2M in Brazil’s Amazonas ended up being a real life experiment of herd immunity via “natural infection” we did not need.

It came back, worse. New variants and possibly fading immunity, they’re studying it. But the idea of herd immunity via infection should end here.
