3/7..seriously, a man who has to organise a crowd of 600 cult members to wave to on his way back from playing golf. I just can’t allow that to happen. Yes he has a substantive voter segment that would walk off a cliff for him, but that segment is not big enough to win an election
4/7 Without a social media voice, he’s lost in the communication wilderness. If his Twitter account were to be reinstated, that would be a different matter, but for now, he really isn’t a political threat in my view. A much bigger threat is voter suppression and gerrymandering.
5/7 The GOP is very aware that it is becoming increasingly difficult to win an election played on a level playing field. They have not won the popular vote since 2004 and even in 2020, when significant effort was poured into voter suppression, they still lost. Add to that, the..
6/7..Dems won the popular vote by almost 8 million votes. Rest assured, red state legislatures are as we speak exploring how they can pass legislation to move the needle. If Dems are not awake to this, it may prove fatal at the mid-terms, despite having a popular agenda. Another
7/7..is my irritation with media who seem to want to have a pop at Biden for not vaccinating quick enough. REALLY? Inside a month, we’ve gone from no plan to a coordinated federal response with an ahead of schedule program & criticism abounds! Give it a rest please.
