It's actually criminal where we are as a club , and how we are currently sitting in the premier league with the players we have brought in and the players we have managed to keep. Our aim was to push for top 10 or around about that area, at the start of the season 🤔 (1).
Newcastle United fans and myself thought that could of been achieved and was a very realistic goal to be done , especially with the players we managed to add to the squad.

Yet here we are sinking ( in my opinion ) a relegation battle. ( 2 )
We started the 2021 season with the likes of Callum Wilson - A prove goalscorer which we needed the most. Ryan Fraser , Jamal Lewis and Jeff Hendrick.

These were great additions with already having ASM , Miggy , Dubravka , Hayden and J9.

A Squad that is mixed with quality. (3)
Now credit is given when due. With the disappointment of Rafa Benitez leaving ,and the club once again letting the fans down-We appointed Steve Bruce and was instantly one of the favourites to go down in the 2019-2020 season but kept us comfortably in the prem finishing 13th.(4)
But even giving Steve Bruce the credit for keeping us up is very debatable.. Questions were asked of why Ashley backed SB , letting him spend 100mil on players then letting one of the best manager's walk away who wanted to improve the squad and shown what he was capable of🤔 (5)
Fans never understand the poor choices the club makes , and it's as if we are used to it , and letting rafa go was a big one.
- And well yeah we are well used to it sadly...

The players that Bruce brought in , did look very good and were , Saint Maximin being one of them. ( 6 )
As of many SB's signings , in his first season with us where mostly loans , and as of every Newcastle fan we are often left disappointed as the club never go further to make a permanent move , even with players who perform on the pitch. Hence why Willock won't be here. (7)
This is just TWO of the reasons why our club being ran by Mike Ashley is continually being departed and is willing to do the bare minimum to keep us going and not pushing the extra mile you see with other clubs in the league. This is season by season and is really draining 😔(8)
This leads on nicely back to Steve Bruce and that why hasn't he been sacked yet? Once again leaving it to the last minute with relegation round the corner. Every game we play is never a guarantee win under SB even against bottom of the table as we saw agaisnt Sheffield Utd 🤨(9)
Then seeing pundits defending his name and claiming hes done a good job and saying hes "better" or just as "well" then Rafa Benitez , - as SB achieved the same amount of points etc is ridiculous. The players Rafa squad was obviously way worse and yet again Rafa wasn't backed.(10)
Even the thought of someone comparing SB and Rafa is a joke. They way SB acts in his press conferences, on the media calling our fans "keyboard warriors" and being sent "death threats" is shocking. As a professional manager, surely you would ignore it etc and focus on the club(11)
I don't know about you , but all I've mostly seen is Newcastle fans calling out for some ambition and to actually try? Seems like we have been asking this for ages and that's because we have. Especially with the team we have created now , we should be doing a lot better 🙌🏼.
(12)
Its definitely a let down aswell as fans aren't allowed in the stadiums. Our fans are like the 12th man player for the squad to push them on and that's what they really need right now , its ashame aswell as a fanbase we can't let our voices be heard as well it could be. (13)
We derserve a bit better than we are given and with history of the club compared to a few other clubs, you feel we should be a up there now and then and get the feeling of winning something or at least be in the conversation but that would be my opinion. (14)
But in the meantime we are with Steve Bruce who is managing his "boyhood club" who has lost the dressing room, the fans and now once again we are losing hope. I mean we get knocked out in both of the cups and one of them being Brentford , a championship side... (15)
With poor results being produced on the pitch etc. Rumours of the takeover being put out all the time which doesn't help at all. - Our fans derserve to know what is happening with the club they support, We have been here many times and come so close but never seen it happen. (16)
When they pulled out (PIF) that broken our hearts to bits as we all want one thing to happen and that is for Ashley to leave for good and see our club complete once again. Seeing our fanbase still showing support for there club , even on social media is class to see 🖤⚪⚫. (17)
I don't want to waffle on about the takeover and our fans too much but how we are as a club at the min is shocking. The Team is class and we've seen moments of that. Our next games are definitely important now , and the last games of the season can maybe decide who goes down (18)
This was one of my first proper threads and I hope you enjoyed reading it 😅 , If you did drop a RT and a Like , that would be appreciated 🖤.

Sorry if I made any Spelling mistakes or missed anything out that would of been worth a mention 🙌🏼.
