I have been overwhelmed and not anywhere near as good about tweeting about the Feb bar as I really wish I had been.... but I would be doubly remiss if I didn’t point this out. Not only can test takers not study, they can’t be assured of getting to take the exam. The Texas bar exam is online and remote proctored. There are no guarantees that that will even be POSSIBLE in Texas next week.

I understand that, like all Texans, members of the Board of Bar Examiners and Supreme Court are struggling in the current situation. But examinees are rightfully panicked. They deserve communication and direction from the bar yesterday. But in lieu of that, today would be good.

Please please please at least amplify this. And if you’re a Texas lawyer and have enough safety, resources, and bandwidth to get through to someone at the bar, please start making contacts.
