The Harry and Meghan story is a timely, important and complex story because of its intersection with culture, society and politics and if anyone can do it justice it is The Oprah Winfrey.
Often times it gets watered down to nonsensical protocol violations, third and fourth hand accounts of different personalities and heavily biased opinions from poorly educated reporters, journalists, commentators; aka the Royal Rota and Carnival of so-called experts.
I am looking forward to an intelligent and quality conversation on the hate and bigotry Meghan has been subjected to in the context of today's culture, society and politics and how it is a reflection of how patriarchy and white supremacy to this day continues to subjugate women.
Equally important is shining a light on how the Monarchy is a bastion of white supremacy and systemic oppression across the world. This is a conversation that was being held in the build up to the wedding before the Royal PR machinery deployed the dead cat strategy.
We must never forget that.

What happened to Meghan is a symptom of a bigger problem that needs attention.
