This editorial makes a ridiculous case for farm laws. According to this, FCI's granaries are overflowing so there's no need for govt to purchase or have MSP

The problem is NOT with fixing MSP. MSP is just the min procurement price & not a guarantee for procurement ++

Secondly, food security is the responsibility of the govt & except for a few States like Kerala where PDS is part of their agenda, many States have failed to bring the max people under its net. In States like Bihar foodgrains from PDS are diverted to open (black) market ++

Despite the FCI granaries overflowing with foodgrains, our hunger levels are legendary

So the problem is not with procurement but with distribution. Demand is there. But linking of PDS with Aadhar has left many out of the PDS
