a lot of white Maoists and Trots and others think that Fred Hampton's line was basically "be nice to white people" and my response (and his too) is "lol" -- like he was hard as fuck on the YPO and made them quit using the confederate flag and he pushed Mark Rudd downstairs
quit using dead Black revolutionaries to salve your own egos and absolve yourselves from abdicating your task which is to organize and educate your own people to reject settler colonialism and fascism
arguing with Black people about our historical revolutionaries only displays your own chauvinism and I'd like to ask why was there no real white version of Fred Hampton turning your own people into Communists -- pull your heads out of our asses and make white revolutionaries
