Drama Schools. I wish to see the end of the current structure of end of year showcases. 3 minutes under intense pressure does not quantify 3 years of intense training and development. End the placing of phones on the pub table waiting for agents to call (yes this happens)
End the fracturing of year groups and friendships based on who happens to have a good day and the traumatic experience of those who are led to feel their career is over before its started. There must be another way to see graduates.
By current standards I fucked up my showcase and it's haunted my confidence ever since (even a BAFTA cannae change that)
But aye. It doesn't work. We know it doesn't work. And there's an opportunity for us to change the structure.

Let's be sound and try it differently.
