HOW DO YOU SPOT A LIAR?

With as many anonymous accounts, as regular accounts on Twitter, sometimes it’s hard to tell who’s real, and who’s not.

Here are some of the tell-tale signs, that something’s not quite as it seems.

(A thread)
OUTLANDISH INCOME CLAIMS

There are many Twitter accounts that claim they earn large amounts of money, just from Twitter.

There are not very many true Money Twitter accounts earning great money.

Those that do, usually have larger followings elsewhere, and a real business.
INSANE INVESTMENT RETURN CLAIMS

As a guy that sold stock investments myself for a living, I know that investors are VERY HAPPY with 15-20% annual returns.

Yet there are Twitter accounts claiming the ability to 10X an investment in as little as 6 weeks.

Sure you can...
THEY HAVE NO PERSONALITY

These accounts are literally tweeting platitudes, hyper engaging with all the other ‘big accounts’, and do@all the right things, but it somehow leaves you with an empty feeling.

This isn’t a real person, being real with you, it’s a bad salesman at best.
CONTRADICTION

I’ve spoken to people that started out following me, and told me via DM, one version of their story.

Watching this same account change their story on a daily / weekly / per tweet basis, was highly amusing.
GROWING ACCOUNT & BULLSHIT

Quite often, as an account grows, as does their bullshit.

Their stories get bigger and bigger, as their follower account increases.

They’re getting carried away with their story now, and making it sound even more unbelievable, because it IS inflated.
DON’T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE

Always be a natural sceptic.

Take a look through their account, their web site, product page, and their bio.

If something doesn’t feel right to you (such as they make $10K a month, yet can’t afford a web site), don’t buy.
LOOK FOR THEM ELSEWHERE ONLINE

Google their name, or their brand.

If they’re genuine, they should be able to be found in other places, web sites, and other social media platforms.

If not, why would they ONLY be on here?
BE VIGILANT

If you’re not sure, don’t buy it.

I’ve spent money a couple times in courses here, only to find they’re full of terrible, bad information.

Stick with reputable brands, and names you recognize, before spending your hard-earned money on that course.
ASK YOURSELF WHY?

If there’s a person claiming to be a successful investor, making TINS OF MONEY...

...they wouldn’t need to sell courses on Twitter.

Ask yourself why this person is selling this product.

If it doesn’t add up, YOU’RE the income, and the product.
