Let me narrate how UPA manipulated prices of onions and duped Indians between 2004 -14

ISRO using its remote sensing satellites informed UPA Govt that rainfall will be less that year especially onion growing areas

At that time the prevailing retail price of onion was Rs 16/kg

Despite knowing the poor rainfall data and depleting stocks of Onion , UPA Govt permitted the export of millions of tons Onion to Pakistan.

As most of the onions from Indian mandis were shipped to Pakistan, the price of onions in Indian markets began to soar

Within a week the price of onions skyrocketed to Rs 100 / kg. Now UPA to cool the price of onions imports millions of tons of the same onion from Pakistan within a week of export @ Rs 64/ kg
