Today, extra BART staff was at Coliseum Station to provide free $7 value tickets back home for those vaccinated at the Coliseum site.

Staff, masked and in high-vis vests, gave out the tickets after being shown a vaccination card with a matching date.
The $7 value return for will cover for all stations in one-way trip except SFO.

Again: get your vaccination, show your vaccination card at the station, get your free ticket to ride back home.

BART is working with @fema and @Cal_OES, who is operating the vaccination efforts at the Coliseum site.

They have staff ready to assist for those driving through the site in their car — or using public transit to get to the site. – bei BART to OAK Coliseum Station
Coliseum vaccination site is also connected to Coliseum BART station via a free @rideact shuttle. It runs from 8am-7:30pm, 7 days a week.

The shuttle also connects to Eastmont Transit Center for free, providing access to East Oakland where BART cannot. – bei BART to OAK Coliseum Station
While number of riders who took BART to the Coliseum vaccination site today (the first day) was a bit low, staff on the ground expects more people getting vaccinated to take advantage of transit as the word gets out.
