If you claim to love film but you’ve decided Martin Scorsese of all people is your enemy and not the corporate system then I really don’t agree one bit and I don’t get you.
The meanest thing Scorsese has said is he thinks CBMs are like theme park rides and that he thinks the algorithms of streamers are bad. And both of those aren’t controversial. And his canon is incredible.
I live and breathe comics and until the day I die I will never get how the director of After Hours and Raging Bull and The Aviator and Shutter Island became THE ENEMY. Hell no he’s not. He’s a Titan.
And yes there are some areas his piece can be debated as I’ve seen some astute film buffs note. But that’s different. I’m just sick of the debate as a whole.
