1. WRT Wales, since 1928 when sufferage was given to all aged 21 or over, we've had 46 years of Tory govt that never gained a majority here. Whilst Labour continues its generations long civil war, what price Welsh democracy?

The need for democratic self-determination is now! https://twitter.com/RussInCheshire/status/1361586203229847552
2. We should recall that the Welsh economy generated enormous wealth, the first £million cheque, and net inward migration at a time when all over the UK and Europe people left for a better life in America. Westminster like Esau by proxy has squandered our industrial inheritance.
3. By virtue of the functional absence of Welsh political agency as a national phenomenon our economy was denuded by disinvestment. The factory in which my Grandfather worked was dismantled and rebuilt in another country. All under the watch of a govt for which we didn't vote.
4. And we are told to be grateful that the UK Govt runs a deficit in Wales, as though this is some great generosity. All the while capital expenditure is concentrated on London at some 44% more per person than Wales at a time when Wales has some 30% of its children in poverty.
5. And whose structure is this London-centric economic model? Who milks this gilded cow? Who is it that consistently returns a Tory Govt and whom do they serve?
6. The Welsh economy is a mere trifle to the UK political establishment ... but to us it is the lifeblood of our Nation. See now how the housing market beyond our borders is saddling our people with debt and breaking up long standing Bro Cymraeg communities.
7. Without a Nation State, Sovereign Senedd & Democratic Government, Wales is at the whim of a political establishment that knows not how to best serve our economic, political & cultural development and often when confronted with the matter of our nationhood reveals its ignorance
8. Federalism will not change this dysfunctional model of government because it fails to build an internal Welsh market which is precisely what we need in economic terms - not isolated, but well administered by an autonomous, sovereign Welsh government.
9. Only when we have democratic self-determination by means of our own Nation State will we have a government equipped to rebuild the Welsh economy and harness a sustainable level of wealth creation upon which we can build a fair and socially just society.
10. Only then can Wales genuinely act in solidarity via international cooperation and engage in our own voice on that stage.
11. The time is upon us. Wales has reinvented itself over and over. The moribund UK is passing. We must look to the nature of the State Wales is to become and to a new Alliance of British Nations.

A time of passing is also a time of renewal. What can we build with #indyWales?
