The #TexasBlackout got me thinking about being prepared for disasters and having emergency kits. What are some of the main things you keep in yours to stay prepared? Share links if you can.
I have one of these because Cali has blackouts during the summer to prevent fires. It's solar powered has a light and charges my iPhone 2x & can be found on Amazon for under $16 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L4WHP0A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_H1Z9M6XR5DD8HP0VZF05
I have these emergency blankets I keep some inning kit and I give them out to the homeless in care packs...they actually keep in a lot of warmth and are very cheap https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0155H15ZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_9ZBBMDXXGYE3Y2HZDQM8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
This little solar light is honestly great. The one I posted the link to is a diff brand but they're literally the same exact thing just branded under different names
These are the charging ports. I'm able to charge my iPhone twice I can't say how long this takes to charge in the sun bcuz I've never had to recharge it in the sun at most our blackouts would last 2 days and I would charge it before hand with a usb wall charger.
I have this on my wishlist because my aunt has one and we used hers when we needed it to power my grandmas oxygen. It worked really well I was able to charge devices and even plug-in an electric stove burner to cook on. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08H1TYFFP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_2Q2MKKYB962ZPJ71W6ZC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
