Wandavision Spoilers:
"He's not Pietro". Nobody ever said he was. Antis like to pretend they're right because he clearly isn't Pietro but no one ever said he was
We don't want Pietro back, we want Peter. And because Peter is playing Pietro, he can't be evil.

WandaVision is going to introduce the Multiverse into the MCU. The two movies after this will be Spider-Man 3 and Multiverse of Madness, where Wanda will also be big. This is Marvel opening the doors to the real Multiverse.
I say that because FFH technically already set up the concept but it was a fake out. That's exactly why they wouldn't do it twice. That would be lazy and very disappointing.
Also with Dr Strange most likely appearing at the end, leading into Multiverse of Madness, I can't see how that would connect to a villain disguising himself as Pietro.
So what if he only send Pietro and he helps him manipulate her. That makes even less sense because if he needs Quicksilver to manipulate Wanday why not just take ATJ Quicksilver from another reality like in Endgame? Why make her see Pietro's wounds? Doesn't make any sense.
Wandavision is a show about family. That being said, with the twins coming back as Young Avengers, Pietro should also be able to stay in the MCU. The Maximoff family is such a huge part of the comics, I doubt they would bring Pietro back to them write him off again.
It's a Second Chance. They have to bring Peter back because they already had to kill off ATJ's version in AOU, who only signed for one movie. This is they're second chance and if they waste it, Quicksilver can pretty much never appear in the MCU again. ATJ probably won't return.
After Age of Ultron, I don't see why they wouldn't want another shot at this great character. There are enough Quicksilver storylines for multiple movies. Bring on Son of M and No surrender.
So why would they choose Fox Quicksilver? Because he's 10x more iconic than MCU OR comic Quicksilver and even though he's a bit different, general audiences who watch these movies will still recognize him.
The show and the merging of Fox Quicksilver with MCU memories (he's literally playing her brother) will create a more popular version of the character that's more accurate to the source material. More popular version = more money
I

Kevin Feige is a big X-Men fan and his first big job in the industry was on the first X-Men. Now that Evan Peters has appeared in WandaVision, it's clear that he must've really liked his iteration and if that's the case, I think the odds of him staying are pretty good.
Peter has a huge fanbase and is probably the most iconic part of the new X-Men movies. Writing him into a lesser known villain would be bad for the show's popularity.
Introducing a villain this late into a mystery show is only natural. But a villain like Mephisto or Nightmare would literally be out of thin air. You need a character that has been around from the very start so that there's actually a pay-off.
Evan Peters playing Quicksilver as a meta connection is not neat or funny. It would be incredibly frustrating to the millions of fans he has. If he was to be the villainy they wouldn't have made him even more likable.
The people who say he doesn't behave like Quicksilver must've never read a comic book before. Pietro has always been cocky and arrogant, that's his personality. You might've forgot that because in the MCU he's just some boring fast jock.
The devil isn't even allowed to be shown in China so Mephisto will probably not appear for a long time. And Nightmare is such a small character in comparison to Quicksilver that it's not even worth a comparison, come one.
In a show like this, bringing in this actor to play this character just as a fake out would be a huge waste of money, even for Marvel lmao
"It wouldn't be suprising." The suprise isn't that he's Fox Quicksilver, the suprise is how he got there, not if he's some demon overlord. That argument is just stupid.
I hope I was able to change your mind and if I wasn't, still feel free to stop harassing me and my friends because you have different theories and different opinions. And if you don't, fuck off, the point of the show is discussing so if you're not able to do that, watch Riverdale
