Of course industry may think it’s a risk worth taking. Companies want bookings so they don’t go bust. And many will go bust because the government has refused to extend useful financial support to the sector.
Also fair to say that there is exasperation with ministers constantly offering predictions on holidays not being able to go ahead. That seems fair. A few months is a long time in this pandemic, so wait and see rather than a prediction seems a more responsible message
